Desktop recruitment is a broad category of recruitment management software. The basic functionality of desktop recruitment is resume management and contact management. These systems are labelled “desktop recruitment†because they usually require the installation of the system on your desktop computer. Many desktop recruitment packages can only be used on one PC or are extremely difficult to network. So this option may only be appropriate for very small recruitment agencies which are “one man operationsâ€. Some desktop recruitment software can be used for larger operations but without the full CRM functionality of the more sophisticated Recruitment CRM software.
